Traces

Light Traces is a site-specific installation exploring the intersection of memory, materiality, and light.

The body of work transitions from two-dimensional planes into tactile, three-dimensional interventions. By combining labor-intensive processes with solar exposure on light-sensitive chemical paper, the project captures the physical imprints of time and duration.

Through a delicate layering of textures, paper strips, and pine needles, the installation subtly disrupts the gallery’s architecture. It invites viewers to step into a sensory dialogue with the fading, yet persistent, traces of domestic and collective memory.
