In this project, I created five long, cascading braids on chemical paper, using mixed printmaking techniques to embody the female figure. These works were developed as part of a parasitic artistic process, inhabiting the gaps within Lior Grady’s exhibition, The Pioneer (Ha’Halutz), showcased at the museum.
By using a basic blue palette and fragile, simple paper, I engage with the concept of "Want of Matter", exploring the transience and decay of both the physical body and the pioneering ideal.
